Stoke Bardolph news

Clearly one of the key issues facing the Stoke Bardolph area is that of the proposed Quarry site. (You can see a map below)

The Carlton East Team attended a meeting on the 14th April which discussed the issue in depth. We will keep you informed of any developments. All there agreed that the plan wold be a disaster for the area. The Carlton East Labour Team Cllr. John Clarke and James O'Riordan made a public statement opposing the development. Local MP Vernon Coaker had attended the Public Enquiry. Vernon has spoken to us about his misgivings about the proposed site.

Ground stability and flooding were some of the key issues raised in an extensive submission by local campaigner Julie O'Neill.
